Work in progress. I’ve got a lot more planned for this chap, maybe involving some heavy 3d work and fluids, but I’m just about happy with the main character.
Doodle I did on the train home. It doesn’t mean anything in particular, but it seems to have turned into some sort of God of Wind with an oversized parrot, or undersized plane…
…and that’s why I don’t like cricket…
Characters from a series of images for the Independent. The final images were set up slightly differently to fit more closely to the specifications, but I still like these versions.
These characters were originally included in another illustration but had to be scrapped so I thought I’d quickly make up an image on their own.
CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR
This is an idea I had while sitting in a New York taxi. Disgruntled furry creatures are shown chasing down taxis and causing havoc with the busy traffic. It was initially created as a sketch but then transferred to Photoshop to add more detail using custom brushes.
Rabbits at Play
This image was inspired by a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. I wanted it to be fun and show the energy and excitement of the rabbits. It is a combination of hand drawn characters and objects created in 3ds Max, using Photoshop to blend the various elements with the photograph. Ideally I would want to create a much larger image with lots more characters, action and detail.
